What are Glabellar lines?

Glabellar lines, often called frown lines or 11 lines, are the vertical wrinkles that form between the eyebrows. They develop over time due to repeated facial expressions like frowning, squinting, or concentrating, which cause the underlying muscles in this area to contract. As skin naturally loses collagen and elasticity with age, these expression lines can become more pronounced and remain visible even when the face is at rest. Factors such as sun exposure, stress, and genetics can also contribute to their formation. While they are a normal part of aging, some people choose to soften their appearance through skincare treatments or cosmetic procedures.
