Skin & Beauty Center is home to a talented team of female dermatologists, each with a unique background and specialty:
Dr. Sonia Badreshia (West Hills)
Dr. Sonia Badreshia is a leader in cosmetic dermatology and an international speaker on skin care for diverse skin tones. She co-authored a widely used dermatology textbook and works globally to develop innovative skincare solutions. Her expertise includes laser surgery, acne treatments, and aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Lydia Carpenter (Santa Clarita)
With over 20 years of experience in dermatology, Dr. Lydia Carpenter is highly skilled in pediatric and adult dermatology. Before entering private practice, she served in the U.S. Air Force, earning multiple military honors. She brings deep expertise in diagnosing and treating complex skin conditions.
Dr. Erica Leavitt (Northridge & Santa Clarita)
Skin cancer treatment and advanced reconstructive techniques are the focus of Dr. Erica Leavitt, a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She trained under a leader in the field and has published research in top dermatology journals. In addition to surgical expertise, she provides cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.
Dr. Dana Kang (Glendale – South & Glendale – Verdugo Hills)
Patients seeking expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology can rely on Dr. Dana Kang, who also teaches dermatology residents at USC. Her background includes extensive research in psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and she stays current on the latest treatment advancements. She speaks English, Spanish, and Korean, allowing her to connect with a wide range of patients.
Dr. Justine Park (West Hills & West Lake Village)
From pediatric dermatology to advanced cosmetic treatments, Dr. Justine Park deeply understands skin health across all ages. She served as Director of Pediatric Dermatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles before co-owning a dermatology practice.
Dr. Yasmin Qaseem (Pasadena)
Dr. Yasmin Qaseem specializes in treating acne and psoriasis and has a strong interest in dermatologic surgery. She has published multiple dermatology research papers and presented at national conferences. She is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
